Update

SP3000 battery test

Offline - music on SD card
Wifi off
DAR off
flac 16.44
Track 'Til They Take My Heart Away - Claire Marlo > repeat one track
Volume 25

1st hr - 85%
2nd hr - 74%
3rd hr - 62%
4th hr - 52%
5th hr - 43%
6th hr - 34%
7th hr - 24%

Almost the same result compared to DAR on streaming via Tidal.

Result is about 7-8 hrs for playback. Not sure how come for 10 hrs.
Bro, I have around the same battery results as yours, is around 7plus hours at around 30plus% battery life

7 plus hrs with 30plus % is quite nice.

But sad to say still fall short of what they claim, which is 10hrs playback time
I don’t think it is possible. I use 16/44 flac repeat for one track with lower volume as mentioned. The result is far off the claim.

Sorry maybe I'm misinterpreting your post but if you still have 30% plus left after 7 plus hours then it's actually getting pretty close to the claimed 10 hours, isn't it?
8 hrs maybe 18% 9 hrs maybe 5% I don’t think it can go to 10 hrs

Have you had any other people concerned about the touch sensitivity of the screen.

My player sometimes activates by itself just because I have the silicon tip of my IEMs resting on it! I don't think that should happen (happned multiple times)
I saw your previous posts and passed your experience onto the dev team. I have not been able to replicate it with any IEMs that I rest on it, but could just be the way I did it. The QA team will do some testing. I will update you when I have more info.

Is anyone else having problems playing some of their non-English music? I have two Japanese songs from different albums that are not being recognized (showing unknown) and won't play. They're from mora.jp (if you're not familiar with it, it's basically Sony's itunes store, but mainly sells hi-res music in Japan) and they both have no problems on my sp2000. Tried re-downloading and still can't get recognized.

Thnaks mate, really appreciate it.

Apparently some other people on this group (just a few posts above) have tangible issues with screen sensitivity (pockets) :)

So today while I worked I ran mine streaming Tidal with volume set at 47 on 4.4 balanced output and I hit 10 hours with 3% battery left. This included screen on time about every two hours to restart my playlist. I personally don't care if it's 10 hours or just 8 hours, but definitely performed to spec.

The sp2000 shows a flac file while the sp3000 shows an mp3?

I don’t think my unit can do 10hrs. Lucky you.
