i just got the bravo USB/SPIDF... and am using the ASIO4ALL v2. drivers..

but i have no idea what these latency compensation, kernel buffers:, ASIO Buffer Size..... etc.. what they all do..

i see that my dac will switch between 44.1, 48 whenever music of that quality is being played... that is pretty cool (;

but what settings do i want to setup?

i have this Bravo usb to spidf

Lite DAc AM

Woo AUdio 3 with upgraded tubes..

I've increased the latency otherwise 24/96 files were hiccuping for me:

hmmm what does that do?

like my question is willl that effect sound quality... and then the latency compensation vs... the ASIO buffer size?? like will they effect the sound quality?

none of this really affects the SQ, set them high enough to avoid glitches/static.

I've set 896 samples in ASIO4ALL, 600ms in my media player w/ 8 ASIO buffers.
