Asian music (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)

Wait, I'm listening to my mixtapes again, you guys just HAVE to try this.

Omo, too much nostalgia.
There seems to be a strong correlation at times to music which invokes nostalgia and quality. I won't go into a rant. Needless to say this is just proof in the pudding.

I've posted too much today. A bit more before I crash though.

No, this isn't existential drone noise punk Shibuya pop. It's just m-flo. Normal, boring old j-pop at its best/worst

Any fans of Number Girl here?

I'm a Mukai fan. I know of another Mukai/Numero/Zazen fan on the forums as well.

I like Sappukei, not sure why it's not as oft-listened to as it should be. Brutal Man is...just love jamming to that one.

Hey, what can you say....

...Considering the lack of activity on this thread while I wasn't paying attention, not a lot I'd reckon.

Yeah Shame on youtube...

Actually the In the Lobby Album on youtube is pure magic as it's the only posted one there... and it was a just mind blowing epic album! The Cello hit hard, the Violin was excellent and the Piano was just epic!

Still jPop only has it seeded by one person so it's taking forever

SCLL has had a new remix album out for a while now. Heard the Yumi cover which I posted later on, knew I had to get it.

An example.

There's a couple more covers. Can't find any links.
Salon Music - pretty prolific

and aoki laska - nugu but interesting voice.

The second video's just pretty fricken cool.

In other news,

The last one is just for kicks.

I love the second one <3
Then the suggestions afterwards the video had these ones - whoa. Mind blown.

Hit a huge reservoir of good stuff after that, mucho gracias.

Anyone here a Wang Wen fan though?

Speaking of Wang Wen, you guys know Wang Feng (different from the band) had his own band before right? No. 43 Baojia Street.

==============

Maybe I'm a bit too nostalgic, but I like older kpop than what it has become nowadays..
I miss THIS After School

One of the hottest MV SMent has ever produced
With real sports cars ACTUALLY RUNNING(!), along with police pursuit and roadblocks and all..

And some jpop to balance things a bit..
Love BENI since her first album. She never disappoints.

OMG, after discovering this post and hearing of BENI for the first time I tracked down a lot of BENI's songs. She's amazing.

I can't get enough of "Butterfly Effect" (나비효과).
Really depressing lyrics though.

Really like Japanese fusion jazz like T-Square and Casiopia. Amazingly talented artists.
From JRock, like neoclassical metal band Galneryus.

Don't listen to a lot of Korean music except for Nell.
I like their depressing lyrics haha.
