The shiny red cable is going from the DVD player to the DIO. The two black/white cables are the analog cables going from the DIO to my amplifier, the MG Head...

I got my bolder cables today, no more clipping with the MOH, it locks on to the Ext. Sync perfectly and sounds beautiful in all modes except 24/96.

I find the slight edge at 88.2, and that seems to be the consensus on the DAC board at harmonic discord, I'm using the cheapie hosa digital cable that i ordered with the unit and which holds the lock very well, thanks for introducing me to this wonderful device,

What are the right angle connector on the left adjacent to the digital coax input and the two straight connectors at the right of the analog outputs?

rajan, those are 75ohm terminations to the DIO, they are just a bunch of totally useless tweaks really...
