I think the thing which impresses me most about Thunder after a good while of owning it is how the dense, rich, and lifelike mids (vocals through guitars -- anything mids really) are spread out over such a wide and 3D stage. That human-like "weight", combined with that spaciousness, really creates a vibrant feel to everything.
