Come and meet your fellow Arizona Head-Fi members on September 25th from 11am to 8pm! Water is provided but if you get hungry or thirsty for something else, the "4th Floor Grille" is right next door. It is okay to purchase the food or beverage at the restaurant "to go" and carry back to the room.

If you plan to attend, please post a message and let us know your coming and any gear your bringing. I am planning to setup one table per person for your gear. Please let me know ASAP if you think you'll need an additional table. The resort has agreed to provide power and outlet strip at each table. You should bring your own outlet strip if you need more than a 6 outlets. For our convenience we have the use of a 4 wheel cart to help transport our gear.

Please be considerate of everyone's equipment. Separate tables will be setup for the food and beverage away from the listening areas in an effort to reduce the risk of damage to anybody's gear. Please refrain from placing any drinks or food next to gear you don't own. Headphones and perspiration are not a pleasant mix. Please take advantage of the tissues strategically placed on each table. Several bottles of antiseptic hand cleaner will be available for use.

For those who've never attended a meet before, please take a few moments and review Siburning's "Tips for Newbies" at the bottom of this Web page: Head-Fi Official NYC Annual Spring Meet Saturday, March 21, 2009

Everybody has "cut" classes for one reason or another. Why not make the meet one of those reasons?

Balderon, I'm glad you found so many people in the area, I hope they can make it out. I called a couple offices around ASU to see if there were any large conference areas that could be reserved, but couldn't get anything more than something in the library (~8 people). I'll call some other hotels around Tempe and see what they can offer.

As for dates, I can't do the 25th because of the ASU football game. The 18th shouldn't be a problem. Don't change any plans for me though!

i'm gone the weekend of the 18th...but the 25th works.  but if the majority want the 18th, please feel free to meet then.  i'll have to enjoy it via the meet impressions later.

i can bring whatever's left in my diminishing stash:
opus dac
grado hf-2
millet mini max
esw9
balanced k501
various odds and ends.

Thanks Balderon for setting up the new thread and messaging the former list folks. If you would be willing to bring your REO’s I would love to hear them since I have been thinking of picking up a pair myself.

Since I’m new to all this I really don’t have much to bring in terms of headphone/portable gear. So definitely I’m one of the attendees really looking forward to hearing some of the stuff that shows up.

I will bring...
Westone UM3X
Pico w/DAC
Zune 120
RAL cryo silver mini to mini
Arcam CD92 (Ring DAC)

For the fun of it I will also toss in some various power cords if anyone is wishes to try some on their amps, sources, etc.
Black Sand Mark IV (with Oyaide terminations)
Black Sand Violet Z1 (with Oyaide terminations)
Wireword Silver Electra 5/2

Finally, would it make sense for the meet to run from say noon to 8 pm so someone like Mr.Sneis (who has classes) or someone else who might work Saturdays can still catch the evening portion? I'm just thinking out loud here...
