Anyone know if these are real or not? The price is suspiciously low for these items...

I am thinking of buying from the last guy since he has the highest rating. However, his sales history reveals that he's sold alot of Monster Beats Tour headphones for only $50, way below MSRP, which leads me to believe that these are fake as well. Does anyone have any experience on this? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows any good stores that sell to Canada, please let me know

Thanks

Tough to tell. I've sifted through a few other seller's feedback comments and some do come up with comments complaining about Counterfeit Monster products. Seems like a lot are coming out of Florida. A couple of sellers that seemed unrelated both had tons of little sales of gold and silver pieces - maybe these sales are to drive up their feedback ratings. I used to think I could single out the trustworthy eBayers, but I think scammers have gotten more sophisticated over there! I noticed a couple of the ones you listed are no longer on the site. I'd recommend staying away from eBay - some of the sellers might not even know if they are selling counterfeit products.

If it's to good to be true it usually isn't.

Did you read buyers' feedback?
"FAKE in open box!!! Sent it back&received full refund by eBay Resolution Center."

I am new at this and almost old enough to qualify for geezer status, just getting back into hi-fi after 30 + years away. From what I can tell this seems like a nice community and I hope to be able to contribute as I get a little more comfortable with the rules and process. However, the posts about fake monster pro turbine copper ear phones caught my attention as I just bough a pair from e-bay. I too am curious as to how to tell if they are fake.

Thanks to all of you for your patience and welcoming me to the forum.
