I was thinking of possibly getting a pair of M50s with removable cable mod on soundprofessionals, but was not sure whether they are legitimate or not. Can someone who has purchased them attest to their legitimacy?

Yes! They work great! You can get the modified version any any of the colors or cable types! The modification is so convenient, and I have never had an issue with my set. Also, a friend of mine ordered a set and his work just perfect as well. Do not worry! You will enjoy them!
