Are the FiiO Q1 Mark 2 and Q5 significantly better sounding than the Alpen E17K?

My only headphones at the moment is the ATH-M50X.
I am contemplating purchasing, for a different sound signature, the ATH-MSR7.

Have any of you head-fiers been able to compare these DAC/ Amps from FiiO?

Any information would be much appreciated.
