I am thinking of selling on my Lyr, although it is a fantastic amp, I find having to deal with tubes an annoyance. Would it be a bad idea if I kept the bifrost and moved to the V200?

I'd say yes. I have a Bifrost Uber and my M^3 is sorta warm with the opamps I put in it (to sound like V200 at half the cost) and it sounds great. Let me know your music tastes as well. The V200 and M^3 may be the best options.
