Apples might be slightly more versatile as an ingredient with food as in apple pastries and apples mixed with savory dishes. And don’t forget apple vinegar too.

However, high quality versions of oranges have a spectacular flavor with their juices And other great products like orange marmalade, etc...

I might have to choose apples but oranges excel too in their own unique ways.

One of the great things about apples is Calvados. Hard to describe but it’s like a cognac that’s made from apples. It’s one of the great apple innovations from France.
