Firstly, you don’t have a book and even if you did, it would be useless because it wouldn’t contain any verified facts. The actual fact, that you’ve demonstrated you are going to avoid at any cost, is that it’s not “just the other way around”. How long have you been posting here? And after all that time you still don’t know what verifiable, published, peer reviewed scientific studies are, what they’re for or the difference between them and marketing? That’s astonishing, as even school children who’ve never even frequented a science discussion forum should know what scientific studies are! Thanks for proving my point! Not to mention, even if scientific studies were no more factually accurate than marketing, still it wouldn’t be “just the other way around” because unlike audiophiles, us objectivists have done and/or actually do objective testing ourselves!
its exactly the other way around, you talking around this just shows that you cant -actually- think objectively for yourself... but whatever m8

but he’s so intellectually lazy and oblivious, I’m afraid it’s real.

So me stating that I use both objectively demonstrated facts/studies and do objective testing myself shows that I can’t actually objectively think for myself does it? Again, ignore all the points and refutations and just make-up ever more ridiculous arguments. Way to go! lol

So, posting BS that you just made-up and didn’t even bother trying to verify, that’s completely contrary to the long established science, without a single shred of reliable supporting evidence and then defending that BS with nothing but a stream of fallacies. Why don’t you think that would make you “the culprit here” in a science discussion forum? lol, unbelievable!

You’re joking right? Do you honestly think we shouldn’t get “fed up” with some dude posting anti-science BS opinions in a science discussion forum?

You mean you can’t see any reason apart from the “posting BS that you just made-up and didn’t even bother trying to verify, that’s completely contrary to the long established science, without a single shred of reliable supporting evidence and then defending that BS with nothing but a stream of fallacies.”? lol

There’s nothing wrong with stating a dumb opinion. Mark Twain said, we’re all ignorant… just on different subjects. You shared your dumb opinion with us and we commented on it. No problem there. The problem is how you doggedly cling to your dumb opinion. You repeat it over and over. The idea of a discussion forum is to have a discussion. You say something. We listen and comment on it. You listen to what we say and incorporate that and we move along. You aren’t doing that. You’re carrying on a conversation with yourself. If you don’t want to acknowledge anyone else in the conversation, there’s no point posting in a public forum. It just makes you look like your skull is full solid with cement.

Everything will "sound" different if you believe it will and you don't test it properly.
and nothing will sound different if you believe in it :)

It should not be about "believe" in a science forum it should be about "test".

When I thought I have heard differences with a cable or a change in some equipment I go to the bother of testing it.

I volume match as best I can then go up and down slightly either side of that. I use identical looking extension cables (tangled up so I don't know which connects to what) and plug the IEM or headphones into those back and forth.

It isn't a perfect test but it is better than no test at all.

Every time without fail the difference that I thought was really quite obvious disappeared.
