I've spoken with him since 9/11, but the last time was at least a few months ago. I can assure you he wasn't physically injured in the 9/11 tragedy.

he lives close enough that he told me that he needed to stuff towels around the windows to prevent the dust and oder from coming into his apartment.
And no, no physical damage was done to apheared on 9-11,I have spoken to him numerous times since the tragic event , though nothing recent
