Wow. Ebay makes no sense to me sometimes.
I just won a good-condition used AKG HPA4000 headphone monitor/amplifier for $48, shipped... which normally sells for $630 new, on Ebay. Not that I'm complaining (
), it's just that Ebay trends are bizarre sometimes.
Anyway, it looks like this thing is used for monitoring multiple wireless systems, but since it has 1/4" inputs, I figured I might try a simple RCA>1/4" adapter and see if this thing sounds decent. Anyone else using pro amps instead of home amps? What are your thoughts/impressions?
If it's no better than my LD MKII, then I'll just take better pics, add a better description of the product, and throw it back on Ebay. Makes mees some monies.
