They are extremely cheap for a Koss headphone and look similiar to the KSC/75's but are they as good with sound quality?

Has anyone tried them before?

It sucks to be in a country where everything is severely overpriced. Teh KSC-7 is teh sux0r: No real bass response, muffled sound, scratchy highs. And you may need an amp just to even get them loud enough, due to their low efficiency.

I really wouldn't say that the Portapros (~30€) or the KSC75s (~20€) are overpriced.

That's because the Euro to USD conversion would result in the KSC-75 costing about $25 USD, while the Porta Pro would cost about $37 USD.

However, the Australian and NZ distributors have set their wholesale prices astronomically high. Thus, a KSC-75 would cost the equivalent of more than $50 USD in Australia or New Zealand, while the Porta Pro would cost nearly $100 USD over in those two countries.

You can't get KSC-75s over here (UK) for much less than £35, that's like $65

You pay the same for the EX71s though, and I know which one's worth it and which isn't

It's not only Grado who have us over a barrel here.

where?
I've only seen them for €35 shipped in the netherlands. (the ksc75s.) but I still don't think that is overpriced. The px100 cost more and i prefer the kosses.
