I too have noticed an increase in the number of v150 wearers. At first glance, I check to see if its not a v6(head-fier in disguise?

). I soon see the true nature of the beast, however, and move on.

My guess is that sony lovers are fooled into thinking these are "professional" phones because of their matte design, and assume that they must sound good.

Well, if that were the case, then the least you could say is that people are actually pretending to care about sound quality in headphones, somewhat. It's a start, right?
