Dropped my iaudio 7 one time too many a coupple of months ago. Suspecting the only problem to be that the outside power knob had disconnected from the electrical one. After having ruined two screw drivers trying to open it up i ordered a new iaudio 9 that works to my pleasing.
Beeing home with a fever today with nothing better to do I sawed the "7" open. I was right! moving the power knob from the inside - it worked as before!!
I could glue it back together having ruined the screws - I could wody it and present it as a gift for my nature lowing wife.......But what if it was possible with my limited electronic knowledge to mod the analogue input and find a place in the circuit the produce a real line signal for an external amp - bypassing the internal one???.....Or can one ad any more memory to that tiny circuit?? - gues not...but what if????
has any of this been done????
