You can't possibly tell me that his thread was that destructive that it clearly warranted massive spamming and finger pointing on your part. I understand the vague nature of the thread and its perceived pointlessness, but some topics that are meant for the other subforums are more quickly and accurately answered here.

Places like the computer as audio and cable forums are practically dead compared to this forum in terms of posts and users and the people posting are usually too busy with advanced topics to answer one liner questions.

Just noting. No need to flame up the entire forums just because you don't like the concept.

You have an interesting concept of "massive spamming."

How 'bout you calm yourself a little and take a seat. Most answers are easily obtainable by a search. And if you post a question, and wait for more than 7 minutes in one of the other forums, you just might get a response. If you don't think again and maybe rephrase your question. That you find that other thread meaningful saddens me, and is a statement about what has happened here.

Perfectly calm, "friend". I do rephrase. It does get a little bothersome making thread after thread when you know that 95% of the high post count people in the headphones forum could answer you in about two seconds.

I couldn't get an answer to a basic cable question in that forum in many hours so I had to resort to PMing a friendly forum member just to get the answer. That was just one possible use of that thread. I'm not saying it's particularly good. All I'm saying is you don't need to make fun of the guy so much and then make your OWN thread which is even more pointless in terms of helping people/discussing headphones :P

So in other words, through just a very slight amount of resourcefulness, you were able to get your question answered.

You can get anything done with a slight amount of resourcefulness :P

A more efficient solution would be to put out a request for people to start making stickys about basic topics.

This is a good thread because the other thread is too long.

My other question about headphones is if a headphone for dogs were invented, would there be higher frequencies than human headphones? I believe that headphones for dogs can be useful because you can wirelessly call your animal from a far distance and your pet can hear you.

Of course, it does not have to be an audiophile headphone for your dog but would manufacturers incorporate better higher ranges since dogs hear differently?
