Any one knows the difference between the Wolfson 8740s and the Wolfson WM8716 Dac chip?

Fatcat, thanks for digging this out.  The 8470 is used in most of Ibasso Dac and the 8716 is reported (unconfirmed) to be used in the Solo.  Very interesting.

I was curious about the DAC in the Solo too, posted about it in the thread and was told it was the 8716, based off a link (http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/aloaudio2/3.html) where it's shown in the image diagram. 
 
The image is just straight out of the Wolfson site so it's hard to tell if they just used any old one or it's supposed to be that one.... hmm.
