Hi guys (and gals)

does anybody have any ideas on how I can increase both noise isolation and bass response on my MDR-EX700SL's I got from Sony Japan? I am a bit frustrated on the fact that even with the largest tips (LL, the purple ones) that tere is hardly any bass response or noise isolation on them like on my cling wrap-modded EX90SLs. I have a thought that this may be due to the vents that the EX700 has on them, but if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to reply.

thanks,

Ray Jackson.

I'd like to hear some solution too. I was really hoping for more bass when I purchased them...
As for isolation, I haven't tried it yet, but I read somewhere that if you stick a decored comply foam inside the silicone tips, it would improve isolation for IEMs in general. I also really hate the wind noise from EX700's huge housings when you walk against wind.
