I am wondering if any of you have had experience with high quality switch boxes -- something that does not degrade signal. I have two headphone amps that I run from the tape-out on my Modulus 3A. Rather than continually disconnecting and re-connecting the IC's I would love to find a switching mechanism that does not kill any of the goodness. How do-able is this, even though I am adding another set of IC's and a switch to the mix? Thanks.

Thanks, but this type of device is designed to expand the number of inputs to a pre-amp section. I do remember the buzz about the Niles passive pre-amps back in the day -- uncolored pass-through with volume control on the cheap.

Actually, I just found my "fix". Doh! I forgot that my CI VHP1 has a set of looped-though output jacks. Far more direct and transparent than adding a switch box. Ran IC's from the CI to the Consonance and it works like a charm.
