Well I did call J&R and they told me they do have black friday deals. The only thing is they won't know which items are on it until that day.

So I guess i'll be calling them again on friday.

Also the sale prices seem to keep dropping until black friday more or less, but then they go to being worse than usual or at least fairly bad soon after black friday, so watch closely, that's what I am doing with the HD 595's, if I can get a new pair for $150 I'll be happy, they have been $168-169 for the last week mostly.

I'm also looking at a headphone (ATH-AD700), so you think it's best to order them before Saterday if I don't want to take any risk for a price increase?

I had heard that there was also a "cyber Monday" where etailers had their big sales. Supposedly it's because all the workers come back to work Monday and do their online shopping from there. Is that right?

Usually you'll find better deals for online shopping on cyber monday, than on BF. This is speaking about online though. Usually the following monday, and that week there is pretty good sales online.

Even with a 15% discount, the prices are still steep.

Agreed. Also, HD800 and Beyerdynamic T1 are excluded from this sale. It maybe good for someone wanting to buy a new Grado because they are not normally discounted. But their regular prices on Denon less 15% is still way higher than Amazon.

Headphone Solutions discount of 15% woke my interest a lot until I found out that HD800s are not included. Does anyone know if there will be a deal on HD800s?

I doubt there will be any discounts on the HD-800's for a while. You're better off finding a deal here on head-fi.
