Any DAC/Amps that can bypass iPod Classic DAC?

I'd like to look into a new portable IEM amp and or DAC (UE 900s + Shure e5).  But do any DAC's or connectors actually bypass the iPod DAC?
 
If not it seems DAC would be useless feature for use with iPod.

there is no easy solution for this
 
which modell Ipod do you use? nevermind...

I see Oppo HA-2 lists iPod Touch 5th edition but not iPod Classic with older connector

I use Fostex HP-P1 with last gen iPod 'Classic' - you can add separate amp (HP-V1) to this bundle. Also used Centrance HiFi M8 which is v good.
