Another vote for the VDH The Orchid. You can pick them up for good prices on Audiogon for a fraction of what an equivalent Nordost Frey, or especially a Valhalla would cost, yet you'll get the same no-holds-barred sound.

I think supra EFF-IXLR cables are very good, really neutral. The store owner of the cable shop told me that kimbers were very bright after he asked me what cables i was using. He also recommend me a vdh interconnect that has wooden looking casing and he claimed that if I got this , I need not to bother other interconnects.
