I'm looking for a amp that I can use with the Sony CE595, and I'm looking to spend around $150 if thats possible. I don't really care if its a portable or non-portable, but I want it to have a Power Supply. If you have any suggestions, they are all welcome. Thanks

A nice used Home Pimeta from the gear FS/Trade section would probably also be a good match.

Maybe look at one of these:

It's $49.99 with free shipping. No, it's not the best amp out there, but the price is pretty fair and it has a 12AU7 in there, if you ever want to tube roll. I have one of these. It's alright, really, it is.

You might be able to pick up a Creek OBH-11 around $150, too. They don't get a whole lot of love at Head-Fi, but it was my introduction to high-end headphones. It's not so much a bad amp, it's more that other ones sound better. But for the price, it's a good deal and I think I got my money's worth.

What is that?.... a HP amp?

Does it have line inputs?

is it noisy with your HF1?

How does it compare to your millet?

Does it really run that 12AU7 at high plate voltages?

curious...
