I wanted to try new drivers again in my x2 since they seem shot. I went with Peerless , sounded better but the highs were too bright.

Are there any low , nice bass like drivers that can do like 1k watt.

Have you tried any orthodynamics? The HP-1, YH-1, HP-100, YH-100 are all good donor phones for drivers. The 100 series has much more prominent bass and a lot more slam. Both the 1 and 100 series have AMAZING midranges and are fairly extended up top with good clarity throughout the entire spectrum. They need POWAH!!! Requires a nice amp. The drivers are built very ruggedly.
