Doing this doesn't void the warranty?

I only have the box and phones.. no receipt.

I find mine to be pretty comfy at stock but I still may try this. Nice find.

I think it's different for every person. We all have different heads!

Almost a year late but I love this mod!! I also added a 2nd set of slightly larger and softer foam pads (with same size holes on both sides,... a foam donut essentially) on top of the originals.

The increased range of motion makes the drivers align with my ears much better now. The increased thickness of the pad also makes a better seal so there is less sound leakage around my ears.

There seems to be increased high freq. detail and perhaps more bass so some may not like this but it works great for me.

I, for one, like the ear clips and much more so now.

Oh damn, I'm an idiot. I cut way too far for it to reattach >.<. Now I have to glue the thing on haha, but it's so comfy now. Props

Just tried this myself and wow. They fit nicely before but now it's easy enough to forget that they're there at all. Thanks for the mod

Oh and I used a slightly heated handsaw, worked beautifully leaving a smooth cut with no need for sandpapering!
