Yes folks, the time has come. We have worked out the details for an Atlanta meet. It will be held Saturday August 9th at head-fi member leo's house. He lives in Norcross, GA, a suburb of Atlanta, northeast of the city up I-85. Directions will be given at a later date. Please post whether you plan to come and what equipment you can bring. I will let Leo bring you more details on the schedule and such when he gets back in town this Sunday. Meanwhile, here are some pictures of his basement where the meet will be held.

Edit: I can bring a Gilmore V2 and Grado SR-200, as well as a Zu pivot mini>RCA and possible my computer.

I'll be there and will bring a Grado SR-225 and KGCA; my computer, Monarchy DIP 24/96, Scott Nixon DACKit and 3XDC PSU; and enough RCA-terminated cable for everyone in attendance. I'm still debating on whether to travel with one of the two turntables I have here.

P.S. My computer can feed a second DAC should someone need a transport. I can bring a power amp if a K-1000 will be showing or if someone has a headphone transformer or Stax electret.

Count me in!

I can bring my HD600s/w Equinox, Grado RA-1, Outlaw ICs, Grado SR80s, Grado SR60s, Phillips HP910, and maybe Alessandro Grado Music Series One if I get them in time.

I will also bring my Sony F707 (digicam) for plenty of hi-quality pics.

I would bring my computer but that would be the hugest pain in the ass. I could bring my laptop but it's headphone out is terrible and I haven't bought anything to augment it yet. (I could bring just the M-Audio Revolution if anyone wants to hear it in their computer...)

Anyway! I look very much forward to this event!

Hey folks, I'd like to help compile a list of equipment that folks will be bringing along. So post in here what you plan on bringing. Oh and if you have power strips/line conditioners you want to bring, then that is welcome. Again, the room does have 3 dedicated circuits (2 of them are 20AMPS), so we have plenty of good power.

I can bring:

Sony ns500v
Sony V6
a homemade amplifier

Not much, and not high end by any stretch, but it's all I have. I can also bring along a few SACDs if people are interested.

Update: Just so folks know, that we are about a week away. I am currently working on directions for folks (pretty simple since I don't live too far from the interstate. Once they are ready (later this evening), if folks PM me that they are attending, I will email them the directions.

Thanks and looking forward to the meet.

tanfenton,

Thanks for compiling a list. Folks, I've written up directions which are fairly simple since I live close to a major interstate. Please confirm your attendance so I can get you the directions.
