You might want to try some other titles, like Jin Roh, Ghost In The Shell, Blue Submarine 6(for the beautiful graphics if nothing else). Try to get them in the original japanese dubbing, with English subtitles. American dubbing I've found, is bloody bloody awful and completely ruins it for me.

the funniest thing is, the first post only scratched the surface of harmless anime - in fact i see those pics popping up in head-fi avvies, no harm done. but this thread has gotten deeper and deeper into the seedy underbelly of otakuland, until the emergence of Man-Faye is inevitable.



and i refuse to be the first to post any Man-Faye pics.

How'd you get a hold of my graduation photos?!!

The japanese/korean/etc costume players tend to look much better than the western ones, don't they? Makes sense considering anime and games characters are somewhat modeled after them.

As for manfaye, I've seen him before, and he makes me sad. Very sad.

I assume you mean some of the asian guys. And I agree. It's scary when you see what you think is a girl in a cute uniform, only to be incredibly disappointed.

Vice-versa alsol, since some of the females tend to pull off male anime characters quite well.
