MOONRIVER 2 is already a successful dongle alternative for those who don't want a DAP around their pocket, but we do want to take a little step further especially for those who were fan of brushed metals.
This slightly revised version features a more stable sound with slightly higher measurements and of course a new brushed titanium housing, redesigned with the same idea of "flow".
(oh well... I'm out of idea about advertisement writing... let's just go to photos)

Absolutely gorgeous design! Great job, Moondrop.

The only potential deal-breaker for me is it's weight.

30g is nearly double what the Moonriver 2 weighs (17.1g), and is very heavy for a dongle that's going to be hanging off the end of a phone. :frowning:

It's indeed heavier but they did redesign the cable which looks and feels way sturdier. I've been using it off my MBP so it's been less portable and sitting on a desk mostly. I think stress at the phone or laptop connector might be a problem long term if its hanging off that 24/7.

So far I like that they went a little warmer overall on the sound signature. At least compared to the original MR2. Smoother sounding with a little less energy up top. Staging sounds wider and deeper over the original to my ears. I quite like the sound here. This seems like a sibling product compared to the original MR2 IMO.

Is it have a gain selector when pressing two buttons simultaneously?
3.5mm: 2Vrms(High), 1.4Vrms(Low)
4.4mm: 4Vrms(High), 2.8Vrms(Low)

Or it is fixed to
3.5mm: 2Vrms
4.4mm: 4Vrms

?
