Hello,

I am new to head-fi and do not have experience with headphones or amps. I am looking for a good amp that would best suite the Sennheiser HD 600. If you have any recommendations in mind please feel free to suggest them. Also looking for headphone recommendations!
Thank you!

Hello and welcome.

Whats your current source? are you looking to upgrade your HD600's, or looking for a headphone to compliment?
Budget?

Thank you!

I am currently looking for a pair of headphones the only pair that have caught my attention are the Sennheiser HD 600's. My current budget is around 600ish? it really depends ... What I'm really looking for is a decent audio setup for music

Take a look at the WA3 or WA6 for tube amps, Senn loves tube.

Very true. My HD600s love my Trafomatic and my Woo 3. Also, oddly enough, they also love my Schiit Asgard despite the amp being a high current amp and the Senns being voltage lovers.

Not necessary, i find sennheisers to have great synergy with solid state amps. I.E the HA-160 or the V100/200.

I had the hd600s and loved them.  They are a great headphone.  I thought they sounded good with my NFB-12 which can be picked up for under $200 used.  if your budget is under $600, then I would recommend finding a pair of HD-600 used for under $300  (or new at $300) and an NFB-12 around $200.  You also might want to check out the o2 amp

I like the Woo 3 with my 600 cans a lot.
