I own 325is right now but I am using them on my notebook, surprisingly the sound isn't that bad. I am currently abroad so I do not have a my setup (project dac/LDIII).

The problem is that I do not know which to buy first. Denon d2000 or EF2 amp. I eventually will end up having both, I hope/plan. I want to get closed headphones for certain music and use my 325is for other music.

help, which first? amp or d2000?

Headphones for sure - you'll get way more enjoyment out of a new pair of headphones (especially since the D2000 is reasonably easy to drive) than a new amp

As long as you don't need an amp or a better amp to drive them you'll notice more difference from a new set of phones than a new amp. Get the phones first then pick up the amp that goes well with them.
