My headphone socket in the HifiMan is getting dodgy, especially
if I walk whilst listening.
I already have a Graham Slee Voyager that had a magical partnership
with my 601, and I have tried it with the 801 and I think its adding something
I don't like, as I prefer the sound without the Voyager.
So time to buy a new amp, bearing in mind almost nothing is available in the
UK, what should I get? I want something totally neutral that preserves the sound
of the 801 as much as possible. I thought about the E12 but it seems a step down
to the Voyager from what I have read.
I don't want or need, EQ, bass boost, long battery life, only sound quality matters.
Budget is £300 or $500 ish.
thanks
