Just acquired a he560 but hasn’t arrived yet. I heard that the he560 needs a warm amp and it is power hungry headphone. What is a good amp for the he560 for $200-250 or under? The only amp I have is the magni 2 so I am looking to upgrade. Going to hook up my iPhone and my computer to the amp

What's your budget? Do you have a dac that you're going to use?

I actually don’t. What do you recommend? I Just hook up my iPhone or my computer to the amp and it works fine.

I preferred this amp to the Schiit Mjolnir 1 & 2 for my HE560, as well as the HE500, and Edition X v1. Be sure to put the jumpers in when you get the amp. You'll really see what the HE560 can do. As far as dacs go you can grab a modi 3 on the for sale forums here and be good.
Cheers!

Thank you! Any clue how much those would run in the used market? Don’t mind buying one used.

Also I heard that the a100 can also destroy your headphones if you mess with the jumpers or something?

No. The amp itself was designed for running hard to drive planars. The jumpers when installed saves you from running the headphones off the speaker terminals. You get the full power of the amp. I never had any issues whatsoever with any of the planars I used to own using the a100.

Maybe older used burson? I really like burson conducter V1 with HE560. I tried little dot mkIII, rega ear, but did not like the sound so maybe stay away from those.

I absolutely love the he560. They're hypnotizing and I can't get enough of listening to them. I bought them used for about 350$ and I drive them through a JDS Labs EL Stack, mostly playing Tidal via my phone jacked to the USB input.

I've tried them with the dragonfly red but that didn't do it justice. I'm sure it scales well and would probably sound even better on a high end system, with more power, and a better Dac, but I'm really enjoying this setup.
