Hi all, it's been a while since my last post.
I've had a set of Denon AH-D1001 for years, they are running from my pc via the headphone jack through a Fiio e5. I've been very happy with them.
I've been going to upgrade to a set of AH-D2000 for the past 2 years. Now I've found they are no longer made, so I have decided to go with the AH-D600. Will I benefit by updating from my Fiio e5 to a larger and better amp? I assume I will, so which model would be worth the upgrade. I've been reading about the Fiio e17 which I believe if I use usb and allow it to process the sound. Is this a good way to proceed. I've also been reading up on the NuForce uDAC USB Digital Audio Converter. I guess the question is from a pc source into AH-D600 would would be a great direction. I don't have plans on upgrading the headphones from these for quite a while.
Thanks
Kev
