One thing I learned when I got into mid fi, which is a step below hi fi, is that you don't worry about the money. Just get the best that you can buy. If you worry about it, that just means you should have stepped up to the plate my friend.
I have already spent more on headphones than I had allocated for my cdp.
I don't even want to get into hifi cause it is a never ending quest...ask these guys in the forum! How many components they have changed in the last year?
I'll stick with mid fi....$500-$1000 on amp, $500-$1000 on speakers and a likely sum on cables and drives.
Step into the land of no return!lol....or just buy some components and forever hold yer peace!
