Two end game setups I can recommend M2tech Young mk1 & Mk3,(honorable mention dac19) / Airist Audio Heron 5 & Teac HA-501. M2 Tech make some insanely good ,endgame level DACS very special imo.

Not sure what my exact budget is but I wouldn't want to go past 1000$, and I'd rather keep it closer to 500$.

I'm using Marantz HD DAC1 with my HD800S and to my ears it's a pretty good combo. You can get it for around 800 dollars.
