Looking to upgrade my hd600 and my magni 2 for a semi end game for now.

I am looking for a headphone that is open and has alot of detail, Bright (nothing dark) smooth mid range, deep vocals and wide soundstage for edm vocals, pop, classical and anything in the top 100. I was looking into the he560, LCD2 or maybe the hd800(little more expensive)

I dont really know anything about amps but maybe something tube amp that can use line out mode so i can plug my fiio x5 2nd gen or maybe the cayin i5 (maybe looking into buying the cayin)

So basically maybe $600 for headphone and $200ish for amp.

I can really recommend the he560, nice clarity and detail. I got it paired to the audiogd nfb28, very nice combo.

Nice to know because the he560 is slightly more cheaper then the lcd2

When i tried the lcd2 the soundstage seemed really small.

Wonder if just replacing the Magni with a Darkvoice 336SE tube headphone amplifier might do the trick?

What sources or DAC, you us currently use, with the HD600 (besides the X5)?

Thats about it. I do the 3.5mm to rca to my x5.

You dont recommend me upgrading my hd600? My hd600 is ok but dosen't suprise me because of the soundstage is not wide.

Not against you upgrading from the HD600.
Just an idea to try replacing the amplifier first
HD600 owners seem to have the idea the HD600 scales up well with better amplification.

You would then have the option of selling off the Magni and adding the funds to your budget for newer headphones.

There is a pair of 560's in the sale and trade section for $500 plus shipping and fee's pretty good deal then throw in a Project Ember and you would be set.

You should consider the new Beyerdynamic DT1990 which match your preferences and comes with two set of pads for slightly different tuning.
Magni 2 should work just fine. Asgard 2 might serve you very well if you want something else.

With this in mind, yes, of course.
