If you like the Beat's sound (massive amounts of bass), the M80 is probably not what you're looking for.

The Spider PowerForce is suppose to be out soon and will be in the $130, maybe you can check that out.

I don't think he's looking for head-smacking bass.  He tried the Downtown and said he liked those.  The Downtown is anything but bass heavy.  It's actually quite light on bass, but has great quality to the low end.

They are a new headphone, so reviews won't come out too quickly (or as large in number).  As far as I'm aware of right now, I'm the second person on the forums with a pair of these.  No in-depth impressions have been given, keep an eye on this thread though: http://www.head-fi.org/t/610966/new-pioneer-se-mj751-bass-head-headphones

The V-MODA M-80 sounds like just what you're looking for. The sq is great as well as the build, very portable, stylish and detachable cables. They also come with a nice case.

At the price of the M80s, the P3s would also be another idea...  Again, I'm getting the M80s soon as well, so that thought could change.

m80s are still a bit out of my range otherwise I would jump on them. Mochill I like those panasonics i may look into them do you happen to own them and if so how do they sound

LOTS of info on the Panasonics.  Most people like them.  Personally I wrote a very good review on them.  They have good bass and are SUPER comfortable.

You can even see my pictures of them on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-HTF600-S-Stereo-Headphones/dp/B004MMEI8W

If you do get the htf600s, make sure you spend a little extra and get the EDT Velor Pads as well:  http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-Velour-Earcushions-MDR7506-Headphones/dp/B0016MF7W2/ref=pd_bxgy_e_text_b

You will see on that first Amazon link that most people (like myself) buy both the Headphones and Pads.

Total price on the two would run you under $60.

That looks like a fantastic combo for the price. I should have tried that out before jumping on my M50...
Oh well, I'm satisfied.

How big are they in comparison to other headphones? Are they on ear?

They are over ear and perfectly so.  Lightweight and not too big.  I would say they are about the same size as the Beats Pro.
