ALTEC AHP524: Any Human Being Tried?

I've found virtually "0" reviews, comments, threads etc. about this headphone in a big, big World Wide Web. Is Altec's CEO the only person who uses these AHP524s? Here's the specs:

Altec hasn't been a respectable brand for a very long time.

Two years ago they were acquired by Plantronics, which aint exactly hifi either.

well, i know, yet the price/performance ratio of altec's iems (im716, i guess) had been qualified as one of the best in its price range. do they produce just good iems and garbage headphones/headsets? aren't there any altec lansing models which could reach at least above-average fidelity?

Unfortunately, Altec-Lansing isn't really the place to look if you want budget hi-fi. The headphones you inquired about were 50 dollars; perhaps you should give the Grado SR 60's a try which you can have for about the same price.

just about all "gaming headsets" are bad

grado 60 or sennheiser 485. both will work that altec like a you know what on a you know where.
