My RA definitely sounds like the one @gadgetgod has graphed. Upon receipt of my RA late March 2024, I asked Clement how was it possible that the posted graph on his website was so far away from my sonic experience. His answer was like :

Anyway, the RA is fantastic sounding set for bass and mids lovers, although the mids are not the most transparent but full and inviting. The high frequencies are under control, but not muted or too rolled off. The RA requires some juice to shine and the correct set of eartips for your ears, nothing new under the sun here. Stock cable is pretty decent, but experimenting with aftermarket ones is not forbidden.

I highly enjoy my set so far.

Our friend @henry9731 and Clement (Alpha Omega) have collaborated to develop a flagship IEM called Fulgrim. The driver set-up is : 1DD, 6BA and 4EST. The IEM is to be paired with a custom-made Astral cable. I am not very aware about the tuning but knowing what Clement and Henry are capable of, I am sure we are in for a treat.

Its 5k, I was all set for 3k or maybe $3500 but to make the jump to $5k I just don't know if I can blind buy a 5k IEM, If I ever would, it would be from Alpha/Omega and nobody else but I am very conflicted right now...

Does anyone have a good alternative to the ear-tips that came with the RA. The nozzle being 6.4mm is quite large, and the alternative tips that I currently have, do not really fit without really"squeezing" them on.
Looking for something with a stronger bore rather than elastic/soft type. any advice, appreciated.

IEM pricing is increasing so fast, one wonders what the profit margin is. Recently heard EE Raven and could almost see the ~$3500 cost being justified, but would not drop $5k blind...YMMV.

Like I said, if I was ever going to do a blind $5000 buy, it would only be for something from Alpha/Omega.

Sheels look beefy, and driver configuration is TOTL. Would love to see some measurements.

Just started my journey , had a bit a of hard time with eartips as those nozzles are the biggest I have ever seen!

JVC Spiral Dots so far are working.

Started with

I went from a Mid size to a small so the tip fit deeper, I don't know that they make a big difference but is it a little richer and I like that it has a filter screen built in.
