guys..just got my MS1 today and i am very keen for the 1st testing....
and i found out the left earpad got very obvious distortion when the music reach its bassy part...the volume i use is not the highest....while the right one don have any distortion loh.....can u guys tell me how to solve it??

Try wiggling the connection to your sound card or amp or whatever. If that doesn't work, I (probably not anyone else) would bang them down on a bed pillow pretty hard hoping the shock would re-arranged something within it to make it start working right (the angry monkey technique). Then if not working, I'd return it.

Sounds like your amp is clipping. If you're using an iPod or other DAP, those have internal amps, as well. Not very powerful ones, so they'll clip when the load (headphones) are demanding more power than they can produce. Clipping usually shows up as distortion in bass, since bass requires large driver movements requiring lots of power.

If it were just a hair vibrating against the driver, you'd hear it with anything that was playing. Same with a damaged driver.
