My MS-1's developed a grattle or other buzzing noise and the common remedies don't seem to be fixing it. I've contacted Grado and they say they'll fix them for $30. Would this the best thing for me to do? I don't mind paying the fee too much but waiting 2 weeks + shipping makes me

Or is it likely that I can fix it easily by opening them up? I'm not much of a DIYer but if the process is pretty simple I don't think it'd be a problem (but I don't want to waste my time if there's only a slim chance I can fix it).
Also, does repairing through Grado usually go pretty smoothly?
