@McCol So how are these opening up with burn in, less underwhelming?

Reasonably happy with the medium spinfits but waiting to see if the tips I’ve got ordered improve my seal a bit. Sound wise I am impressed, lots of detail and they definitely improve as you get used to the presentation.

Have I ordered the wrong tips with the comply t-400? I went by bore size.
From your measurement, the t-400 seems to fit. But just ordered the InAir 1, cause they fit for sure.

PS. My N5005 will arive within the next Hour =]

Unfortunately I am at work and after this at a Soccermatch tonight. So I will not be able to listen to it until tomorrow.

My N5005's will need to go back for an exchange. Whilst taking a tip off the nozzle came away from the body of the earphone. AKG in the process of sorting a return hopefully.

Hopefully a one-off but be careful changing those tips!!!

Noted....thanks for the warning. Sorry to hear that.

It’s a bit of a pain but like I say hopefully a one off and not an overall weakness of the earphone.
AKG will be contacting me Monday to arrange return/exchange.

Not a great start to say the least... hope it’s a QA issue even if at this price point it’s disappointing... at least customer service is working fast

Spoke to CS in UK, emailed them photos and they pass onto returns who he said would be gone a Friday afternoon so prob Monday before I hear anything.

I think the noozle has just not been glued enough, the sound is still there when you put it back in, like I say hopefully a one off QA mishap.

All I hope is N5005's sound can be more musical rather than in reference style(k3003).

My early impressions are that using the reference filters they are indeed reference sounding, I’d say they have more of a neutral reference sound than the K3003. To me that’s a good thing.

I wonder how is N5005 compared to Noble K10? Massdrop x noble k10 only cost $899usd at massdrop website now.

Sure hope so because that's particularly alarming on a model with swappable filters and a driver in the nozzle.

My thoughts exactly, the other nozzle seems sturdy which is reassuring!

Sorry to hear that. Could you please share a photo of a broken earphone?

Very bad picture but gives an idea of the issue.
