Akg K812 and K872 apple lightning and alternative connections

I am planning to use my iphone 8 and with an akg k872 on the go. Using the default cable i would need to connect it’s 3.5 mm jack connector to the apple lightning to jack adapter which connects to the phone. Seems like a clutter.

Are there any other possible connections between the headphones and the phone that are simpler? A 3 pin Lemo to Lightning cable would be great, but I havent found such a product. A portable bluetooth adapter could be an option, so there would be no cables connected to the phone, but the iphone does not support lossless bluetooth connection and this setup would require an extra device, the bt adapter. A bluetooth module like the one on the Hifiman Deva could work if it would exist for the akg k872.

I dont want to use a portable audio player next to my phone.

Does anyone has any suggestion?

Check out the fiio btr5, it has LDAC and would allow you to avoid connecting the headphones to the phone. I have a pair of K872 and the btr5 sounds fantastic,
