Which one is better? I have an Ultrasone PRO 900 and I don't know if these two headphones are worth the upgrade.

Kebbin, I'm afraid not many members have the K550 and even less have the MA900, and to my knowledge only Muppetface has both. However, the thing to consider is, do you want a closed or open can? The MA900 is very much open, the K550 closed. I can say I like my MA900's so far but I haven't heard the K550 so I can't really give you a contrast.

I bought the MA900's the moment it was avavailable for an audition in the store. I was impressed then, and I remain so.  Oddly, these two cans in question seem to be rather polarized.  Some love them, others hate them. I've listened extensively to the K550 and as much as I've often agreed with Tyll's findings, I just could not like it.  Not one bit.  The MA's though, I like very much.
