AKG K540 is too fragile

I have bought a K540 in September 2013 and it has been broken in 3 months.  Its material quality is the worst I have ever seen.  
I am extremely disappointed and will never buy any AKG headphones again.   I cannot use it any longer with those broken parts. See the photos with red marks.

Don't they come with some kind of warranty. Did you try sending those pictures to AKG?

Mine has broken the exact same way as yours aswell, it's a very fragile headphone indeed. But it's sound quality compared to other way more expensive headphones, is better.
