Hello people!

I recently bought a pair of AKG K501s off of some random guy, and when I got home and excitedly tried to listen to them, I realised that the right side of the headphones did not produce any sound.

Now people who know about the K501s know that they're now rare, and sound very good. For these reasons, I want to fix this pair of headphones instead of throwing them out. Now how do I go about doing this?

Now to describe my problem, only the right side (the cup not attached to the cable) does not produce any sound. The fact that the other cup sounds fine and does not rattle when I play loud or bass-heavy music leads me to suspect that the other side is not blown, but some soldering along the way to the cup has as a result of age become faulty.

So how do I go about fixing this? Does anyone have any experience opening up AKG K501s?
