I have not had a chance the hear either.  I'm looking for a neutral sounding closed headphone that has that AKG house sound, with tight bass response.  That's also not so bright one the highs.  Which one gets the nod?

The K550 is one the brighter side of the spectrum, but I did not find it unlistenable. It has a larger soundstage than any closed can I remember, with maybe the exception of the D7k (been a long time since I've heard one).
