Hey đź‘‹
I am going to purchase either the Akg k240 mkII or the Audio technica m50x as a studio headset for monitoring of classical guitar and singing. Which one could be better for such aim ? My current headset is Sennheiser hd540 refI which is very cool in terms of the sound but I need the second more robust headset with complementary sound signature ( imho the hd540 might lack a bass response naturally produced by nylon string instruments and voice ).
Many thanks in advance
Cheers

Sony MDR-V6 or MDR-7506 headphones, lots of used ones (normally) for sale on eBay.
Popular low costing headphones that get good reviews for people in audio production.

Of the two, I'd say the K240 MKII. I'd say they're more natural sounding and flat/neutral. I've had mine for 15 years approximately but I rarely use them now.
